Crossroads Alpha: Indie Haven Muse Hack Psycho Drive-In Seventh Sanctum

Invincible #26

A comic review article by: Jason Sacks
Invincible is a completely solid comic book. Every issue, month after month, Kirkman and Ottley deliver solidly exciting and interesting super-hero action, and this issue is no exception. Eric Grayson has become a really interesting character, a wonderful prism through which to experience the amazingly odd and unique things that happen to him.

In issue #26, readers see Mark reunited with his father, Omni-Man, who reveals some dark secrets from his past and some very surprising truths about his present. Among other things, we meet his mate Andressa, and see how easy it sometimes can be to become a king. Because so much of the fun of this issue comes from its wonderful surprises, I won't reveal any of the rest of the plot of the issue. Suffice it to say that this issue is chock full of twists and turns.

Ottley's a terrific artist for this book. His clean line style is just wonderful, full of energy and great at conveying characters' emotions.

Yeah, this is yet another solid issue of Invincible. Ho hum. It would be news if there were a bad issue.
