Dynamite
Buck Rogers and Wilma Deering lead the attack against the Pack and their genetically altered menagerie. On earth, Buck's friends meet, and the twenty-first century Deering makes a shocking announcement.

I could recommend Buck Rogers because of its artwork. Carlos Rafael and Carlos Lopez illustrate some sweet science fiction that pays homage to the old while banking on the new. In addition to the special effects, they illustrate an attractive and comprehensible visual narrative, and a healthy cast that exemplifies dynamic design and anatomy.

I could recommend the book because of Scott Beatty's smart plotting that makes use of historical Buck Rogers attributes and the amusing antics of con artists Ardala and Kane. I could further recommend the title because of Beatty's ear for natural-sounding dialogue.

Instead, I'm recommending the book because of its finale. The end to the story characterizes Buck Rogers as a humane individual that lives in the twenty-first century but always sported future ideals. It's because of these actions Buck Rogers earns five bullets.
