One of the featured characters in this Comic Book Encyclopedia is Felix the Cat and I had to ask Felix what he thought of this book.

Paul: Felix, what do you think of this incredible book?

Felix: Well, Paul, it's like this, if you want to know about origins of some of your favorite comic book characters, you can find it here. You can also find the biographies of some of your most famous comic book writers and artists! There are over 400 comic book covers published in this book that consists of 400 pages! When the reader puts this book down, it comes to life. It's a universe in itself. I jump around to different realities in this book and I have met some incredible characters. Some of the characters I have met and are featured in this book are: Monkeyman and O'Brien, Mister Universe, Amethyst - Princess of Gemworld, The Arrow, Astron - Crocodile Queen. I once had a crush on Astron, but she wasn't interested, I think she liked one of the Atomic Knights better.

Paul: But, Felix, your a cat and she is a human, aren't you interested in your own species?

Felix: Well, I once dated a Persian feline, but she caused me to choke on a hairball. Well, anyway, other characters I interacted with and met were: Atoman, Blonde Phantom, a whole schmoo of characters that came from the mind of Clive Barker and produced comics like: Hyperkind, Electro Kid, Hokum & Hex, Saint & Sinner, Nightbreed, The Harrowers and Pinhead. These comics were under the Razorline print and didn't last too long. I guess Clive better stick to his movies and books. Then I met up with: Captain Tootsie, Captain Midnight, Charlie Chan, Herbie, Madam Satan that was published by Pep Comics in 1941! The only one not afraid of Madam Satan is Herbie, but that is another story in itself.

Paul: Okay, Felix, can you wrap this up?

Felix: Pushy, pushy. Okay, I met up with Astro Boy, yep, some Manga here too! Uhh...who else did I meet?...oh ya...Tom Mix, Nyoka the Jungle Girl, Tom Strong, The Zebra, Zero Ghost Detective and a whole lot more, too many to mention here! Anyway, check out this book when you have a chance. It's worth the money and would make a great present.
