Now hat do they do for fun in this forest? Well Grandma Rose races cows. She actually runs against the cows. The race is off to a fast start, the Bones all end up running in it to and a whole pack of Rat creatures join in to. These characters are well written. You find yourself entering their world easily.

The Rat Creatures want to release their master who will destroy the world. The grandmother and her granddaughter along with the Bone cousins may be the only ones who can stop it. Their journeys are filled with adventures. The Bones may not seem like world saviours but they just might surprise you.

When they do show all the dragons underground they are a various lot. The dragons are in all shapes and sizes.

Now Thorn finds out how to defeat the threat of the Locusts she must touch the Crown of Horns and with the help of Fone Bone she does. He has stood by her from the start. He is shown as the truest of friends.
