First off, I must say that the Hellboy cover for Vampirella Magazine May 2004 #4 was excellent! This issue like all other issues is filled with great information! I enjoyed reading about Jonathan Scott Fugua's In the Shadow of Edgar Allan Poe. I didn't realize that Mr. Poe had such a sordid past. This should be an interesting read, since it was the lost journal of Mr. Poe. From all indications, it looks like this warped genius did head toward a path of self-destruction. I will check out the book!

Enjoyed your Vampirella story: "What Have We Become?" by Becky Cloonan. A quick tale of the plague and how Vampirella doesn't tolerate a cursed man with an axe. They say pictures are worth a thousand words and this story proves it!

I summoned the vampire known as Lestat and another vampire named Vittorio and asked them what they thought about the Vampirella story "Vampirella Must Die".

Lestat: "The colors are amazing and the artwork is done superbly well, I love the blood colors!"

Vittorio: "My lady friend Anne Rice would shake her head in disbelief in seeing such a beautiful woman like Vampirella wielding an Asgardian Thunder Axe! I love the way she uses her feminine power to behead her opponent! She truly has a lust for killing!....ahhh..my sweet Vampirella!"

Paul: "Wow! It seems like Lestat and Vittorio got a kick out of this story. Lestat, what do you think about the article on Hellboy?"

Lestat: "I once met Hellboy in the depths of Hell, after I came across a creepy guy with pins sticking out of his head, wearing some strange leather attire."

Paul: "You mean you met Pinhead?"

Lestat: "Yes, I believe that was his name, he was carrying some strange device that would open up if you rubbed it in a certain way."

Paul: "Yes, that sounds like Pinhead, well, what did you think of the article on Hellboy?"

Lestat: "Magnificent, I must see the movie. Director Guillermo Del Toro proved he is a true fan of Hellboy, by keeping Mike Mignola's character intact as Mike Mignola envisioned Hellboy. Vampirella Magazine is very informative, I will read it all the time!"

Paul: "Well, there you have it, two vampires that truly love this magazine and of course I love this magazine too!"
