Sometimes I am completely floored by the incredible Manga stories in Raijin Comics and what I found in issue #40 took me by surprise. First off, I must comment on the beautiful artwork by Hara Tetsuo in "Fist of the Blue Sky". I was amazed by the exquisite details on every panel of artwork. The characters looked so lifelike. Horie Nobu knows how to create a dramatic atmosphere that deals with notorious gangsters. He throws in intriguing moments as it is mentioned that there is a bounty on Yan Wang's head. Then being Kokakai's #3 man means a change of personality, a change in demeanor, it's like being a made man in the Italian or Sicilian mafia. There is a lot of ego that top notch gangsters have and it shows when one of the main gangsters is worried if people will notice his hairpiece. This was a story that had plenty of dramatic flair and some good ol’ wickedness!

With many other quality manga series included, this is a must-have.
