Great excitement Indiana Jones style as Simon Archard, detective extraordinaire works along Mr. Dare who Simon frowns upon because of his unorthodox archaelogical methods using blasting oil to find his treasures and not having any regard for the historical aspect of his findings. This odd couple of Archard and Dare are facinating to watch as they explore every nook and cranny of this bizarre island.
Simon is concerned about Emma, his girl Friday who was taken by a Gronk. A Gronk is referred to as a gargoyle, but looks like a dragon. Emma is being crowned as a queen and she comes upon the evil baroness known as Miranda. Miranda doesn't hesitate to let Emma know that she has the true power and Emma is merely for show. Is Miranda evil? Well sort of...she has her own aims and goals and they are not for good. She has a touch that is cold and empty of life as Emma would describe it.
Archard and Emma do find each other and there is a happy ending as the two leave the island. Emma may not be so happy, since she also lost her beloved journal on this island. Artwork by Butch Guise is always on the money - you won't be disappointed!
