Creator: Jim Mahfood
So it's three girls, all swimming in sk8r street cred (yeah, I hate it when people do that), whose previous anti-corporate shenanigans now force them to stop dealing doobage, and get a job. Jim hits the mark with a bullseye as that Catch 22 "Experience" is cited as a prerequisite each time they apply, but finally one of them gets lucky at the American equivalent of The Pound Shop:
"You ever worked in a 99¢ store before?" "No, but how hard can it be? I mean, everything in the store is 99¢, right?" "Good point."
Very much like the way their t-shirt statements are constantly changing in a running manifesto (Meat Beat or otherwise), but it's also a dead give-away, because it's a Mahfood manifesto, and one wonders if he even considers giving them a personality that isn't his own.
