The Ankhavans are a very unique race of beings. They appear to be of African heritage, they have the wings and flying abilities of angels and practice the ways of ancient Egyptians. Sojourn #14 was quite intriguing to say the least. I love Gareth's sense of humor, he brings a lot of good comedy relief to the story.

As Arwyn and Gareth debate on who is the sidekick, the threat of trolls looms in the air. Arwyn and Gareth are in ever constant danger and I hope Arwyn's arm heals quickly, because she will need a good fighting/archer arm. How mysterious it was when our heroic duo went into the Ankhavan's tunnels and encountered the 'place of the dead'. Again, the Egyptian influence became prominent as I saw the writing and the mummies.

As I thought this could be a sequel to the Scorpion King, things took a different turn as Arwyn and Gareth encounter the Governors' Harem Chambers. The Ankhavan that clutches Gareth's throat is a giant. Gareth had better place his wits together and come up with some fast talking!
