Superior artwork is found in Sojourn #13 by no other than the very talented Greg Land! I marveled at each and every panel. The naturous layout on page 2 simply dazzled me.
The story started off like a well-done movie as Bohr is drowning a man at a creek bed and all around are men he has slain. As he seeks shelter from the upcoming storm, his horse is spooked by a large bear. Bohr is a ruthless troll, but has a heart of gold when he discovers that the bear is simply a mother protecting her cubs and he and his horse depart the cave and leave the mother bear undisturbed.
Knowing that Bohr and his troll army are seeking Arwyn and Gareth still stays in the back of my mind. It's hard to focus that Bohr will kill Arwyn and Gareth if he encounters them. How can this ruthless troll also shed a tear for his dying mother? The scene in which Bohr has to take the blade and take his mother's life because she seeks an honorable death really was a gripping scene of sorrow.
Ron Marz now throws in a fantastic cliffhanger as Arwyn and Gareth must now determine how to enter the fabled city of Ankhara!
