By now I'm sure everyone is waiting on the edge of their seats for my return. Their nails bitten down to bloody nubs. October isn't too far away. But there's been a little change of plans and this update is here to tell you how those changes affect you, the loyal reader.

The Monkey House will be returning on Thursday, October 2nd. However, this will be the last Monkey House for the foreseeable future. When you read the column you'll find out why. But fear not, you will get your weekly a/k/a Simon fix. And I might even bring back a few of those readers who left once I stopped talking comics in the process.

Starting the very next week, on Thursday, October 9th, Silver Bullet Comics will bring to you the exclusive serialization of my novel, The Nuclear Family. It's a story of family, dysfunction, power, and love. Plus, one of the main characters is an ex-superhero. Traditional drama with a comic book twist. A new chapter every Thursday and Friday, only at SBC.

As of September 16th, I will be travelling with the Big Apple Circus, hitting several cities along the East Coast. How did I get from a possible job at Del Rey to running away with the circus? You'll just have to read the final Monkey House to find out.

The madness begins again October 2nd.
