Scott Allie Takes the Editor-In-Chief Reins for Dark Horse ComicsA comics news article
Natalie Parker reports:
The Dark Horse Comics blog has announced the promotion of Scott Allie to the position of Editor-In-Chief.
The industry veteran has been a part of Dark Horse Comics for almost 20 years, leading the editorial teams on some of the company's best-loved titles, such as Joss Whedon's Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Mike Mignola's Hellboy, and is no stranger to taking up the pen himself with scripts for B.P.R.D. and Solomon Kane.
Allie's long-term collaborator and friend, Mike Mignola, had this to say on the blog:
"I've worked with Scott, day in and day out, for more than fifteen years now. In all that time he's talked me off any number of cliffs, kept me going, kept me focused and organized (as much as anyone could), and, quite simply, made it possible for me to produce the best work of my career.
He's been everything I could ever want in an editor and I cannot imagine a better choice at Dark Horse for editor in chief. Congratulations, Scott -- you more than deserve it."
We here at Comics Bulletin would like to extend our own congratulations to Scott, and we can't wait to see what he has in store for us next!
Scott and Mike's B.P.R.D. Hell On Earth: The Abyss Of Time is due on shelves in January.
Bisexual Valkyrie, in exile from her beloved homeland of Yorkshire, watches over the Manchester cityscape. Not actually a supervillain, despite living above a hat museum. Lover of cinema, comics, posh coffee, very small lop-eared bunnies and Swedish Electronica. Would marry Jamie McKelvie’s artwork, if such a thing were legal in Britain.
