Toronto Comic Con Dates Confirmed

Gareb Shamus, CEO of New York based Wizard Entertainment, announces the Toronto Comic Con will take place this spring, March 26 -28, 2010.

“We’re excited to take our Wizard World Toronto Comic Con brand internationally with our premiere event in Canada,” said Shamus. “We’re thrilled to offer the guests, celebrities, artists, dealers and exhibitors our fans are accustomed to, and I believe this show will be fun for the entire family.”

Peter Dixon, owner of Paradise Conventions and former owner of the Toronto show, will help produce the event, ensuring the continuation of the family friendly atmosphere of the show.

Ben Varadi, Chief Creative Officer of Toronto-based Spin Master Ltd., , says, “I’ve always been a fan of Gareb’s Comic Cons. I’m sure I speak for all pop-culture fans when I say I could not be happier that he is holding one of his fine events here.”

This show that has been consistently awarded The Best International Comic Book Convention (non-USA) by ComicBookConventions.com, for the last 5 years.
