This is hysterical...

Licensable BearTM, the famous little cartoon critter who just wants to be licensed for products, has unleashed two more salvos in his carefully crafted plans for recognition. He's using a one-two assault on the print and online video realms to spread the word of his fame, "I'm famous," he explains, "but my fame has been too much of a secret. I'm looking to spread the word."
To increase his fame in the print realm, Licensable BearTM is releasing The Licensable BearTM Big Book of Officially Licensed Fun, a laugh-filled 144-page collection of stories and features. Shipping in September (and listed on page 186 of the current Previews catalog), this collects not only all the stories from Licensable BearTM issues 1 through 4 and special features (including Licensable BearTM's essays on intellectual property and the one-and-only Su-do-Licensble BearTM puzzle), but plenty of added features. There are all the stories that appeared the anthologies Many Happy Returns and Wild About Comics, and even the first print version of the previously online-only crossover with Heroic Publishing's Liberty Girl. Plus there's some product art and other specialty pieces from the Licensable BearTM files.
Meanwhile, his assault on the online realm has already begun. Just up on YouTube and other video sites (as well as his home site of LicensableBearTM.com) is the first episode of the second season of "Products That Should've Licensed Me!", a humorous monthly series taking a look at oddly name, packaged, and promoted products that really could've used the services of Licensable BearTM. These videos can be seen at youtube.com/LicensableBearTM
"Buy the book, see the videos, and spread the word!" exhorted Licensable BearTM, displaying the honest, product-promoting enthusiasm which made him what he is today.
The Licensable BearTM Big Book of Officially Licensed Fun (ISBN: 0-9790750-6-8, $11.99) is a 144 page black-and-white trade paperback with color covers. Written by Nat Gertler, it contains art by Mark Lewis, Rusty Haller, Tone Rodriguez, Alex Grecian, Jett Atwood, and many more.
Licensable BearTM and his likeness are trademarks of About Comics, a spunky little comics publisher. For more information on About Comics and their comics packaging and publishing, see www.AboutComics.com
