Giordano Brews Up A Perfect Storm

Springfield, TN (8/21/06)—Long-time industry professional Dick Giordano is lending his considerable artistic and editorial skills to Perfect Storm #1!

“Giordano, former executive editor of DC Comics, edited the book, inked the cover and illustrated a pinup for the story. “It’s an honor for us that Giordano is involved. His experience is unparalleled and his work on Perfect Storm shows he’s still in top form,” Eric Miller, publisher of HeroStreet Press, said.

Rob Jones, writer and artist of Perfect Storm, is the latest of Giordano’s protégés, a who’s who list that includes former Frank Miller collaborator Klaus Janson, veteran artist Joe Rubinstein, and many others.

Perfect Storm follows the story of government black-op agent Erin Storm. In her first adventure, Erin faces an assassin who knows her every mission and move. Evident that there is a leak in the operation, Erin must race to find it before it gets her killed!

Jones, who has illustrated such memorable characters as The Phantom and Liberty Girl, makes his writing debut with Perfect Storm. “I've had this character with me for years, and to have her first adventure released through HeroStreet Press is a real thrill,” Jones said. “We have more stories planned for both print and web, so I hope people will check out the book and the website.”
