Sonic The Hedgehog Is On The Move In June
Posted: Friday, March 4, 2005 By: Rik Offenberger There's just no stopping Sonic The Hedgehog. After all, how many other comic book heroes who debuted in the 1990s still have a series? Sonic's fiercely loyal fan base, comprised of both children, and adults, take their hero as seriously, as any renowned fantasy or sci-fi character. That's due in no small part to the comic books, which have expanded the Sonic universe well beyond the video games and animated sere that spawned the comic books.
This June, Sonic s fans will get a double treat. First up is the landmark SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, #150. This issue has Call the beginning of a story arc that could very well be Sonic's last, the return of some classic villains, and a spiffy makeover for the comic itself: beginning this issue, Sonic is printed on coated stock! fan-favorites Ken Penders, Steven Butler, Jim Amash, Romy Chacon, Art Mawhinney and Andrew Pepoy contribute.
The end of the month sees THE HEDGEHOG #151. This thrilling issue picks up the -epic storyline begun in the previous issue and features a Sonic first: a back-up story written and drawn by Tania del Rio; the new -superstar on the block -who's responsible for the phenomenally successful manga version of Sabrina the Teenage Witch! Tania is joined by other beloved Sonic regulars including Ken Penders, Jim Amash and Steven Butler.
