Rupp’s Comics is proud to announce the exclusive autograph signing of Superman/Batman’s creative team, Michael Turner and Peter Steigerwald, on Saturday, September 25th.
Michael Turner has been one of the top comic book artists since breaking into the industry with Witchblade in 1995. Since then, Michael has created his own comic, the top selling Fathom, which has spawned multiple spin-offs and mini-series. In 2003, he went on to create his own publishing company, Aspen MLT, Inc. In early 2004 Aspen was contracted to take over DC Comics Superman titles for a re-launch that including all four Superman titles, plus covers to Flash, Teen Titans, and this years smash hit, Identity Crisis. In August 2004, Aspen launched Turner’s latest creation, Soulfire. This Saturday an exclusive cover print to Soulfire #2 will be available only at Rupp’s Comics and RuppsWorld.com, with the exclusive comic book cover to come upon the books release! As well, Aspen will be selling several other limited edition prints and original artwork from Michael Turner.
Peter Steigerwald is ranked as one of the top colorists and production designers in the comic book industry. Peter has been Michael Turner’s exclusive colorist for more than three years now, and is also the VP of Production for Aspen MLT, Inc.
Michael Turner and Peter Steigerwald will be available Saturday, September 25th from 1-6 PM signing autographs and answering questions about art, comic books, getting into the comic book industry, and life in LA.
For more than twelve years Rupp’s Comics has been northwest Ohio’s premiere source for comic books. Rupp’s Comics will be distributing Free Superman Batman #8 comics to all kids who attend Saturday. Throughout the day, posters, comics, and more prizes will be given away to those who attend.
