This week's Canadian edition of TIME Magazine features a two-page interview with D+Q publisher Chris Oliveros and how he "created the most elegant comics publisher in North America." Citing the "demanding taste" and "sharp eye" of Oliveros, journalist Andrew Arnold notes that the "D+Q roster is small and top-notch. "
The article also spotlights the cartoonist Seth and his new graphic novel CLYDE FANS stating "Seth creates a quiet, elegiac atmosphere."
A sidebar article profiles Chester Brown and his best-selling graphic novel LOUIS RILE: A COMIC-STRIP BIOGRAPHY features a photo of Chester and art from LOUIS RIEL.
D+Q, Seth & Chester will be In NYC this weekend, along with fellow D+Q cartoonist Adrian Tomine, for an event at the Union Square Barnes & Noble, Wednesday June 23rd at 7:00 PM, as well as the MoCCA Arts Festival this weekend at the Puck Building.
