Hank Kanalz Joins WildStorm As VP-General Manager

Hank Kanalz, formerly of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, has joined DC Comics as VP-General Manager, WildStorm Productions.

Kanalz was most recently Director of Worldwide Theme Parks for Warner Bros. Consumer Products, where he oversaw the company's relationship with theme park licensees such as Six Flags and Universal Studios, as well as other destination entertainment businesses. He has been a key liaison between DC Comics and Warner Bros. Consumer Products for several years.
"Hank brings a unique and diverse portfolio of experience to the company," says John Nee, DC's VP-Business Development. "We are very pleased to have him join the WildStorm team and look forward to his contribution there."
Prior to joining Warner Bros., Kanalz was a line editor at Malibu Comics for the Ultraverse imprint. Kanalz also wrote comics including THE FLASH and various Image Comics titles.
At WildStorm, Hank oversees day-to-day operations including editorial, production, coloring and administration. In addition to his business responsibilities he also will edit some titles.
