The World’s Best Hollywood and Comic Book Talents Come to Orlando.
Jay & Silent Bob, Chloe, Will Robinson, The Beastmaster, Grima Wormtongue, Otho and the Comic Book world’s best talents come to Orlando.
The forces of good and evil, along with some of television’s classic stars and the comic book world’s favorite creators, will converge on Orlando from March 5th to March 7th, 2004, for the tenth annual MegaCon at the Orange County Convention Center.
Back by popular demand will be Hollywood and Comic Book Superstar Kevin Smith. Joining him will be a first time appearance by actor Jason Mewes (Jay) of Jay and Silent Bob and actress Allison Mack who has won a strong fan following for her portrayal of a young Chloe on the critically acclaimed Warner Brothers television series Smallville. They will be joined by a collection of new genre stars and some old television favorites for the South’s largest pop culture show. With more than 100,000 square feet of exhibit space featuring publishers, art studios, comic book creators, dealers, and other attractions, MegaCon has become known as a great marketplace for comics, toys, anime, games and collectibles.
MegaCon 2004 will feature Japanese Animation film festivals, Anime Sushi’s outstanding anime costume contest, JACO’s anime music video contest, hundreds of gaming tracks by SunQuestä Games and Unity Entertainment, and discussion panels with popular artists and writers.
MegaCon will also host the once a year auction for ACTOR. ACTOR is a charity organization that auctions rare and one-of-a-kind comic book art and memorabilia to help provide financial assistance for retired comic book creators.
