Pamela Anderson Joins With Stan Lee to Launch Animated Striperella

The syndicated hit V.I.P. has officially been canceled, and it isn’t because of low ratings. Unfortunately for the show’s cast and it’s legions of fans, it is finances that doomed the popular action romp. After one of its financial backers, KirchMedia, declared bankruptcy in mid-April and subsequently was unable to contribute further funds to the production of the show, the decision was made to halt production after four successful seasons.

Anderson, despite claiming that one of her reasons for accepting the demise of a show she helped develop was to spend more time with her children, has already made plans to return to television, albeit in a new format for the former Baywatch bombshell. "I will also be starring in my own animated series created by Stan Lee--Striperella--which is coming soon," she says. Stan Lee, as many fans already know, is the legendary co-creator of most of Marvel Comics’ classic characters, including current box-office sensation Spider-Man. While details are scarce regarding Striperella at this time, rest assured that all will be revealed in due time.
