Who's who in the SBCU Update 2003

Who is... Michael A. Diaz?

Michael Diaz lives in Michigan, but don't hold that against him.

There he works as an IT slave while fostering dreams of one day becoming a "real" writer.

Most importantly, Michael is seriously addicted to comics, something that his wonderful girlfriend tolerates with the patience of a saint.

He also writes this weekly column that people occasionally read.

"[O]ne of the most positive and entertaining columns going."
- Gail Simone (Birds of Prey, Villains United)

Pick of the Week – None; Welcome to What Looks Good!So after eating dinner tonight I went downstairs to my computer to type up this week's column. I started perusing the release this week and when I got done I realized something: nothing got me really geeked this week.

Nothing.

I don't want this to sound like and excuse, because really, it isn't.

Sure, there's stuff coming out this week, but nothing I feel THAT strongly about. Do you feel the same? If not, I'd love to hear YOUR picks for the week (hit the boards).

I guess maybe because this week is Thanksgiving here in the States that there isn't a lot of awesomeness coming out.

Sure, there's Ex Machina, but I'm behind on that book so right now I'm not feeling a lot of joy.

My lack of enthusiasm might be all my fault.

So, that's it. Not much of a column I know, but really, would you rather hear me blathering on about comics that I'm not actually geeked about?

Everyone have a nice holiday and I'll be back next week with some more geek love to share!

Later!

-Diaz
