Default Perhaps my lamest excuse ever.

I've lost this week's column. It's on a memory stick, and I can't find it.

I'm hoping it's at school, in which case I'll post it up first thing tomorrow. Otherwise I'll have to re-write it.

Bugger!

Yeah - and the fact that it's true just makes it worse...

You need one that fastens around you neck so you can't lose it, although I have one of those and am worried that it will drop off so I usually have it in my top pocket as well

I have my memory stick as part of my keychain. It's only 256Mb, so I need to get a bigger one. But saying that, 256Mb was more than 1/4 of the HD space of the first PC I bought.

Me too. I know that I'd constantly be forgetting it otherwise.

Mine is 1GB, which is roughly five times the size of the memory of the first desktop PC I owned.

It's quite amazing how quickly technology progresses. My first ever computer was an Amstrad 6128, which was probably significantly less powerful than my mobile phone is today.

Mt first computer was an Oric Atmos. It had 48K. This was considered powerful at the time...

All I know about my memory stick is that it is 1GB, was £8 from ASDA, and that my friend has the some one and that it was corrupt within the first hour of her having it

I have several memory sticks. And I can never find the damn things when i need them. I've just realised that the one woth this week's column on is currently sticking in the desktop attached to the IWB in room 124 at school.

Since I won't be in 'tilltuesday, that means I'll never see it again, and I'm trying to remember what else was on there, and whether it was backed up anywhere else...
