As much as I try to use this column to shift the focus off of cape books and onto some of the more unusual and esoteric things that can be achieved within the medium of comics, I tend to write a lot about Big Two superhero books anyway.
Greetings and Salutations one and all! Welcome to the latest installment of what is, if not the longest running column in the history of the world, should be: What Looks Good! The place where nearly every week in and out you can stop by and see what's looking good in the world of comics (and occasionally the world of music, movies, and television, too!).
So it’s a new year, huh? Does that mean anything to any of you? Have you carefully made out your resolutions in a list, ordered by importance, so that you can check them off one by one as you fail to fulfill them? I’ve never been much for resolutions.
Brandon picks out the perfect holiday gifts from this week's releases. Or, in other words, "Let’s talk about getting stuff for free from people who don’t really owe you anything!"
What’s up ComicsBulletinites, faithful column readers and funny-book connoisseurs? Are you enjoying your day? You’re not? Wonderful, because neither am I! Due to a family birthday dinner featuring tainted surf & turf, I find myself writing this column somewhat ill and more than a little late, and for the latter I owe everyone an apology.
It’ll have to be a short one from me this week folks, since it’s late on the night of my birthday as I type this and the hookers are almost here.
